What's the best/quickest way from Newark Airport to Time Square (46th & Broadway - W Hotel)

What's the best/quickest way from Newark Airport to Time Square (46th & Broadway - W Hotel)?
We will be arriving on a flight into Newark on Friday, and we will be staying at the W Hotel, which looks like it's right on 46th & Broadway. Coud anyone help us out and tell us what would be the best mode of transportation to get to our hotel in the quickest manner? I appreciate any help in advance.

My best suggestion is to see ground transportation once you arrive, there are many ways to do it, you can take a shared transfer, a private car, the train, you can also see you options on their website. The reason I say this , is because it depends on what time of day your coming here, traffic can be a big factor in this city . http://www.panynj.gov/airports/ewr-ground-transportation.html

The best and quickest way to get from Newark Airport to the W Hotel on West 46th Street and Broadway is by public transit. Here's how to get from the airport to Times Square. Step 1: take the Airtrain from the terminal to the Newark-Liberty International Airport train station. Step 2: at the Newark-Liberty International Airport train station, purchase a one way NJ Transit ticket from EWR to Penn Station New York and take any New York City-bound (eastbound) train from there to New York Penn Station. A one way ticket on NJ Transit from EWR to New York Penn Station will cost you $15 per person. Step 3: at Penn Station, follow the directional signs to the New York City subway. Take the uptown (northbound) #1, 2 or 3 subway lines (Red Line on the subway map) from Penn Station to Times Square-42nd Street. The fare on the subway is $2.25 one way, per person ($4.50 round trip, per person). If you're staying in town for a week or two, you can purchase a 7-day unlimited ride MetroCard for $27 per person, or a 14-day unlimited ride MetroCard for $51.50 per person. Buying an unlimited ride MetroCard is a huge money save, specially when make multiple trip across the city. Step 4: at Times Square, exit the subway and follow the walking directions to your hotel at the link below. http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&source=s_d&saddr=7th+Ave%2FFashion+Ave&daddr=Broadway+%26+W+46th+St,+New+York,+NY+10036&geocode=FU7gbQIdRAqX-w%3BFZ_tbQId1hKX-ylFqvawVVjCiTE2PYFlzv5p8w&hl=en&mra=dme&mrcr=0&mrsp=0&sz=17&dirflg=w&sll=40.756985,-73.986415&sspn=0.005778,0.009645&ie=UTF8&z=17 I hope this information is very helpful. My guess, you could take the air train to New York Penn station And then you could either walk or take a taxi. New York Penn is close to Time Square.
